The University of Toronto’s Black Medical Students Association will conclude its school year in pizzaz with a talented musical showcase, “MUZIQA,” on May 18th at the William Doo Auditorium. Guests should expect a lively band performance featuring violinists, cellists, horn players, guitarists, bassists, pianists, and percussionists.
The event will also serve as a fundraiser for TAIBU Community Health Centre, facilitating the delivery of community health and social services to Black communities across the Greater Toronto Area.
This year’s theme, “There’s No Place Like Home,” will celebrate the African and diaspora heritage with great sounds and influences from every corner of African, Caribbean, and Black Canadian/American music.
