The Town of Halton Hills provides funding and resources to support community initiatives and projects, community-based activities, events, and projects via its 2025 Community Grant Program (CGP). The program aligns with the town’s priorities to make the Halton Hills community a safe and welcoming place to live.
Through the Community Grant Program (CGP), the Town of Halton Hills supports community groups, organizations, and residents in making positive and meaningful impact to the lives of the Halton Hills community.
MORE ABOUT THE 2025 Community Grant Program
The 2025 Community Grant Program offers two funding streams.
- Community Projects: Support for group development activities, governance, marketing and promotion, strategic planning, training, and volunteer management. New activities, events, and initiatives that innovatively seek to meet or resolve a defined need within the community. This funding stream provides a maximum of $2,500.00 per group per project.
- Neighbourhood Projects: Empowering residents and neighborhood groups to create and host new activities and initiatives to celebrate and build healthier, connected, and more engaged neighborhoods. This funding stream provides a one-time maximum of $250.00 per neighborhood group.

Available Funding/Prizing
- The program offers grants of
- $2500 for community projects (a maximum of $2,500.00 per group, per project)
- $250 for neighborhood projects ( a maximum of $250.00 per neighborhood group)

Eligible applicants include
- Local community groups
- Individuals
- Faith organizations
- Social service agencies
- Service clubs
- For-profit groups/organizations

Interested participants can apply for their eligible projects for each project stream

Applications for this program are due by Friday, March 28th, 2025
