Black History Month Workshop - Sound Journey (Toronto)
Join Lakeshore Arts for our second Black History Month workshop in 2025, led by Micah Nelson, on grounding, balancing and Black Joy and Resilience!
Participants will take a healing sound journey and mindfulness practice to help balance the mind and body.
Participants will also explore supportive and healing practices, along with tools that can bring healing and grounding to our everyday lives. This will be followed by a simple creative journaling practice, anchoring the practices and tools in a visually artistic way.
This workshop is a closed space intended for members of the Black community. See details below
Accessibility Information:
Lakeshore Arts’ Community Project space is located on the first floor of a building with 3 stairs at the entrance, and a non-automatic door. A ramp can be available upon request. Our bathrooms are located at basement level, only accessible by a flight of stairs.
Face masks and respirators are available for anyone who chooses to wear them, we will have an air purifier running during the workshops. We ask that participants stay home if they are feeling unwell.
